One of the world’s leading Commercial Vehicles manufacturer, established a truck manufacturing plant near Chennai. Re Sustainability Limited (ReSL) played a pivotal role in sustainably managing the plant’s environmental infrastructure.
Recognized for its capability to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions, ReSL was entrusted with the responsibility to manage the hazardous and non-hazardous waste generated at the plant. An Industrial Recycling Center (IRC) was established within the plant to efficiently collect, segregate, deface, and send waste and scrap materials to authorized recyclers. These systems enhanced the value of the organisation’s waste streams. Hazardous waste was stored in compliance with regulatory standards and safely disposed of at authorized Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facilities (TSDF).
Building on this success, the organisation further entrusted ReSL with managing the plant’s Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), and Water Treatment Plant (WTP). ReSL’s operation of these facilities ensured Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) and helped the organisation achieve Net Water Positive status by significantly reducing fresh water consumption.
